Bruce, that was exceptionally well put. Each investor has a different set of means to reach the common objective... capital growth. Cha2 hasn't explained what precisely he means by "in the past" but considering his focus on future technologies has produced considerable results, I'd say he's one of our better max growth champs, though not alone.

Two years ago, I would have never thought that someone holding Cisco was a "conservative" investor. Back then, I thought a conservative investor held GE. By comparison today, CSCO seems a conservative holding when compared to Q, G, and J. One day, Cha2 will have these on his "past" list as well.

The "market" prices these companies based on the wide perception of the company's future earning power, not it's past. For many, for now, a two-year five bagger is powerful stuff, and it certainly doesn't look weary to those, though it may to some others. Networks aren't going away anytime soon, CSCO has competitive advantages going forward, and it's stock prices now, and a year from now, and a year from then, will reflect that. I'll continue paying attention to Cha2, but I'm not buring my copies of TFM.

>>Thank you, Lucius, for coming to the aid of Cisco. I was too busy cleaning the coffee off of my computer keyboard and screen when I read the earlier statement about Cisco being 'in the past'. <<

Bruce, my friend, I think we have to keep all beverages away from you before you destroy your entire home. <g>

I agree that Cisco's days in the sun are not about to end. They have the money and the skilled management to keep developing new products, and finding new tornados. It is way too early to dismiss them.
