Brian, I lean more heavily to the full Parousia of the Lord Jesus for many reasons but the strongest are Paul and the apostles themselves who make many comments of the Second Coming in their lifetime.
According to 1 Corinthians 15, there is a spiritual resurrection that has already taken place. When Paul says "we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed" it is evident that it is the Corinthians that he is speaking to.
You notice that Paul is referring to a SPIRITUAL resurrection and not a bodily resurrection.

How can this take place without notice or record? Can a Spiritual body be touched or handled?

Our views do depart from (creedal orthodoxy) but do not depart from biblical orthodoxy. The test, in the final analysis must be in the Bible and not the Creeds.

Good morning Brian and all who love the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for your response to my previous post. You are correct Brian, I believe in full preterism, to which the scriptures overwhelmingly support. Rather than " pitch " verses back and forth to eachother to defend our respective positions I would like to ask you one question, and that is, Have you read the book by J. Stuart Russell called " the Parousia ", If you have not I would ask that you obtain a copy and read it. If you are open to the truth in the scriptures regarding this topic you will certainly be enlightened. I would very much doubt that you have read it by the many things you have stated to me. I have purposely not addressed the rest of your response and questions as I believe we are miles apart in our understanding of this topic. You need to read this book I mentioned and I trust that you will indeed do that Brian. May the Spirit of Glory grant you to see His truth according to the Holy Scriptures. Robert
