Steven Cindrell, sorry for the late response. . . LPTHA's VP worked for Lucent/Bell Labs for 20 years. Their chief was the CEO of AMP . . a multi-billion dollar company. . . it is peculiar that such a heavy hitter as this would stoop to head such a tiny company, which primarily has some scientists and a bunch of patents. . . Then there is this link. . . .Lucents new crown jewel is their "all optical router". . . which blows away Ciscos routers. . .being 10 times faster and will save web hosts operational costs. The key to making an all optical router work is the optical multiplexor. . . and guess who holds the key to optical multiplexors. . . LightChip/LightPath. So while T is an obvious tie to LPTHA through common investment in LightChip. . .Lucent cannot be counted out. . . which is why I lump them together.
