Korean Kospi at a 5 yr high, Japan's Nikkei at a 4 yr high...anyone else think Pac Rim nets are going to explode this year?:

07:03 ET Asian markets : The Nikkei rose 236 or 1.3% to 18,783, a three and a half year high, following the Sony Corp (SNE : 254 11/16) decision yesterday to opt for a stock split giving 2 for 1 so making shares more affordable. There is speculation others will follow suit. The Korean Kospi rose 2.2% to a 5-year high as mutual funds bought Telecom Corp and other internet and telecom related shares.
