yep nem is almost = au in share price, yet au hit 38 at the peak this year and nem's peak was far below that ... if abx is perceived negatively, where else can yank mutual funds put their gold $ ??? i don't know if n will pull back...remember N is in the key canadian indexes and if the market roars in january, n has to be bought, plus some funds are overweight with nortel, etc and eventually some $ has to shift...there are limits to how much a fund can own of one stock
