What is the "timetable" for nuclear winter? Assuming an average lockdown period from October 1999 through February 2000, when do you think the fit will hit the shan in the markets?

Who was the turkey who took both you and I to task for suggesting that server sales were providing plenty of evidence of a serious slowdown back in September or October? (g)

I note that the article doesn't get at the traumatic severity of the revenue slide in this sector, nor does it point out that this was the sector that all the box builders expected to maintain their overall margins even as PC margins turned to dirt.
