Razor -- About a year or two ago, I tried to search for funds which copied or tracked the mid and small cap S&P's. I don't think my search was anywhere near exhaustive, but I could find only a handful of these funds, and the funds that did track these indexes were relatively small (I didn't save the research, so I don't have more precise info). At that point, I concluded that the insertion of a company into one of these indexes had a negligible effect. Although there may be more small index funds today, and although I may have missed some funds when I did my search, I think the removal of a company would likewise have a minimal impact -- unless there is some unusual reason for the removal.

I don't follow BNO specifically.

Thanks Razorbak on the BNO tip.

Rolled out of BNO just after earnings announcement for a quick and tidy sum! I'm holding a ton of OEI, CRK, and NBL right now. OEI finally has left the gate! Oh yeah still have half of my position in UNT that also saw the light again!
