for the bond market it's not a question of 'enough' free money anymore...it is 'too much' free money. the real return on bonds is in danger of erosion with the Fed pouring gasoline on the fire of an overheating economy. today's economic stats once again showed that the economy is too hot. the Fed should jump on the brakes, and is doing exactly the opposite.

No, everything will go to hell in a handbasket. America will keep its position, although it will seem like it is second world.

I've heard all the stories of Depression from my Grandparents and I have no delusions about the effects given their behavior until the day they died. It was an overriding effect, like religion. One Grandmother actually kept saving fat and making her own soap until infirmity stopped that.

But maybe us few are all wrong and we are throwbacks, a new species has supplanted us? =L=
