Bill I have been trying to understand this 3 day settlement logic. I assumed that today is last day funds can buy to claim the winners and/or sell the losers to get rid of them to dress up their windows so to speak. Am I correct? Now one would have to assume that Dell is a loser so far this year if FUNDS are selling today for 1999 window dressing. Or they would be buyers today if Dell is a 1999 winner.

My personal opinion is today would be last day to have a winner in your portfolio and then sell everything tomorrow to be absolutely safe for the Y2K fears?

In otherwords tomorrow starts the Y2K selloff?
