FLC seems to have been on fire the last week here. Any ideas as to why?

Also, anyone understand the behind the scenes games that go on regarding a thinly traded stock like MEXP having something like a 10 to 20 TIMES increase in volume on the day before Christmas?

Could this be an arranged tax loss sale between two well heeled individuals. Kinda like I will sell you my stock if you sell me yours?

Bernie:

One of the analysts quoted in that article said he did not think the E&Ps (and by implication the OSX) would really take off until crude comes down and people can see where it settles.

That has long been my position. This OSX rally is nice, but I don't think it will carry much further except in the very unlikely event that the oil majors and the Street conclude that $25 crude is here to stay. And OSX still not doing very well compared to crude. I have a modest postion now that I am holding long term, but will not load the ship until crude takes its inevitable hit.
