Perhaps I did not make myself clear. Allow me to try again. Why can't content providers (like AOL) write broadband content now? Is there some special key to ATHM's system that they still require? You can get to any web site you want from ATHM, therefore there is access to their 1 million subscribers now without ATHM doing anything. You speak in theoretical terms, but I wonder where the revenue is coming from doing what you say. More subscribers?-don't need them now, they'll just have to wait in line for service like everyone else. Cut of ad revenue?-AOL might not agree to this. Show me the money. How and where are you allowing AOL et al access? Are you letting them "in" for free? Why aren't they "in" already?

If you want AOL to write content for ATHM they want a piece of the action, if not complete ownership of the customer. You seem to imply that there is plenty of action (or more will be created) and all will win. Let me use your own phrase, "You don't know that."

No one has ever called me a liberal (except maybe a classic liberal). That's how I know we are not communicating.

"You don't know what can be done on a private network or what people would pay."

I am confused. Are you assuming athm is going to be at work
Becuase if you are talking public McDonalds Golden Arches answers all questions. Choices private elite or public cheap?

Kissing babies would work as mothers need all the help they can get and one less trip in the car is heaven. Try shopping with three young children it is heck. Where do many dollars go answer on children
