You're right the ORCL split is effective 1/19/00. Record date is this Friday.

Oracle Announces Two for One Stock Split

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Oracle Corporation (Nasdaq: ORCL - news) today announced a
two-for-one stock split of its outstanding shares of common stock. The stock split will entitle each stockholder of record at the close of business on December 30, 1999 (record date) to receive one additional share for every share of Oracle common stock held on that date. Shares resulting from the split will be distributed by the transfer agent on January 18, 2000 (effective date). Oracle currently has approximatel y 1,429,445,000 shares of common stock outstanding.
