Thanks Bob. Being almost two years old those figures are, understandably, less than I'm estimating but shocking, nevertheless. One doesn't know the real incidence because the disease is not notifiable and the government is in a virtual state of denial about it. Yet I have heard from colleagues that the incidence of AIDS related illnesses is as much as 80% of total admissions in certain hospitals. I have also been told that the incidence of HIV is already 20% amongst medical students at the local medical school.
