carepedeum2000,
<biotech>

I've been bringing up CVTX for a while now...it's under accumulation and moved up considerably today again. This will move up a great deal more in 2000

IMO

Don't laugh. . .but I see Monsanto as the sleeper in the pharmaceutical / bio-tech industry. . . which I tend to lump together in the same basket. I'll bet their subsidiaries have shiny new floors. ALLP is a tiny sleeper. . . but I like AMGN and MEDI best in the larger caps. . .in a related area, I like MYL. Mylan Labs is a terrific generic drug maker that gets no respect, but just look in your medicine cabinet and see how many Mylan products you have. . . you might be surprised. GENE is not bad. . .but has been tricky to trade lately. . . but I think the best way to play the tiny bio-techs is to time them. Like William's rat dogs. . . buy them cheap and hold them until they pop. . . .nearly all the major bios pop on news. . . so there is a whole strategy in buying them up and selling on news. . . .and it can be quite rewarding. . .as many pop 100+ percent. . . get enough of those going and it can keep you occupied just enough to keep you from messing with your long portfolios out of boredom. <g>
