The price is NOT right.

$1500 for a phone set is ridiculous, even if the target market is a specialized niche. For global acceptance, the price (cost of manuf) has to come down, or G* has to start giving phones away in order to boost service. This is a time tested marketing plan that has been successful repeatedly this decade and should be adopted asap by G*.

If you have enough money and arent in the middle of teh Indioan Ocean,,you should be able to get a signal from somewhere..
