The price is NOT right. $1500 for a phone set is ridiculous, even if the target market is a specialized niche. For global acceptance, the price (cost of manuf) has to come down, or G* has to start giving phones away in order to boost service. This is a time tested marketing plan that has been successful repeatedly this decade and should be adopted asap by G*. Kunal

Thge only mkt for GSTRF phones ..is the idiots who order those Nieman Marcus Diablo's with your initilas etched in the windows.. A few pathetic morons, who also Buy those portable sauna's for the ir garages and or have carpet in the garage.. A pitiful few number of butt heads in the world, that wil buy this junk... If you have enough money and arent in the middle of teh Indioan Ocean,,you should be able to get a signal from somewhere.. Wait ..Cruiseliners,, Camel herders and Siberian Ice monkeys are all candidates.. If you go your entire life and bump into more than 5 sat phones ..let me know and I'll buy all 5 at double the price
