I am very thankful that Voltaire has pounded into our brains some of the manipulation of these MM's. I really think this XING news is actually very huge. I think the XING news was bigger for QCOM than it was for XING. China is making the move from GSM to CDMA!! We all know that the hang up has been with the royalties to QCOM. It probably is that QCOM won't back down on the royalty amounts. They don't have to since they have the best technology. I wonder who the Asian Telecommunications company that the XING news refers to is?

Once this really starts to settle in today I look for QCOM to be up big tomorrow.

is first post-split day really Friday?
let's examine your claim...
from 506 to 470 back to 506
translated
from 126.5 to 117.5 back to 126.5
maybe worth a stomach churn
I doubt this volatility will be present
the shortened day will consolidate trading activity
notice that today's manipulative efforts happened in late afternoon

Gene,

Stupid question:

QCOM is splitting at EOD on Thursday and will be trading post-split on Friday? I want to make sure I'm clear about this.
