Re-read Jean's post and I still come up with the same conclusion. At the very least that company is under the impression that IDX can help them deliver to Compac and Dell. At the very most, they are in the door already and are trying to open it even wider. Then again, the press release may be full of hot air. At any rate, I still think it shows some direction and I'll stick by the Wendell recommendation!

The market really sucks right now for most small and mid-cap stocks. From listening to all the latest Gurus on TV, it sounds like 2000 will be the big up year for the value laggers in those two groups. I just hope IDX can get some earnings together and participate!

I think we should change the honorary awards to Randy's or Randell's, instead of Wendells to honor the founder of IDX.
Seems like the right thing to do! Needs to be ran by the commission for a vote!

David, I like to think that the glass is half full. Obviously, that's why I'm still here.

I'm not so sure you can make a fair comparison to the recent (partial rebounding) performance of the smaller cap internet security stocks such as SCUR and AXNT. Unlike IDX, those stocks were hit very hard right around April 1st (tanking a whopping 75%), due to Y2K spending. (I own both) Although, there will be a lot more spending on internet security, post Y2K, and I do believe investors will finally wake up and realize that biometrics will play a very important role in this field. That's why I decided to add to my IDX position - picked up more around $7 last week. These were going to be 'trading' shares, but now I'm thinking 'long term' :-))
