Carlos; That's my game plan too! Buy a good stock and HOLD it! Another thing I got away from is watching every tick. If you do that you'll die of a bleeding ulcer before you get to spend any of your profits.cb

I agree with that strategy. It really is the best way to go. Now I only buy a stock that I feel I can go weeks without checking and not worry about it. And I almost never buy on an up tick, I wait until my pick goes on sale due to a nervous market day. The key is to have your stock all researched and your entry price decided with the cash waiting for it. I spend a lot of time watching the price behavior of the ones I like. I also joined a club called NAIC (National Association of Investment Clubs). Their magazine studys a different stock in detail every month.
