Nah, no big deal, it's just 18 points on a $100+ stock. Piece of cake. Will see before February.

Pity the poor people who bought today at 355! They are already down over 10% in less than a day. They will never see 355 again, ever! Too bad ,so sad

Another value investor--lol. <g>

I bet there were some who panicked a couple of weeks ago when the stock dropped to 220. The long term investors know better. Although i am one of those short term traders, this is one stock that is worth holding onto in the near and long term. I did not sell under 300 and am not selling now. It is way too early. I need to see a price of about 200 post split before i lighten up a little bit.

Well, it is already gaining---Island shows bid/ask 326 by 335.

I think we had a Nasdaq100 sell program that took down many stocks. I think some may be covering afterhours.

As one guest on CNBC put it today--the rest of the week is uncertain but the big inflows in January will result in quite a ride. If that is the case, i bet if there were a lot of short sellers today, they will cover by Friday.

The Canucks you referred saw a close equivalent
to 305 (298 + 5.20 X 2/1.48) on last Friday. So therefore, they are still $10 Canadian ahead per share. Of course my numbers factor in the Dec 20 stock split on the TSE.
I might have skipped explaining some of my steps in the calculations. The stock should open $10 higher on TSE tomorrow if the Nasdaq price is 319 to 320 in the morning.

Not only it will see 355 again, it will see 400 by Jan. 31, 2000. Pretty soon JDSU will replace DELL as the top 5 Nasdaq leaders.
