Looking at channel stocks, the story is the same but with slightly more rhyme and reason. Web integrators are certainly the wave of the future and the desirable business model going forward. Their importance and influence is only going to increase as the Internet becomes the backbone of the business world and gets incorporated into everyone's daily life. But there are some injustices here as well. Razorfish is trading at over $90, Sapient cracked $126 last week, CMGI was nearly $270 the last time I checked and Viant was around $85 per share. Meanwhile distributors, whose importance has also increased due to the Web and will continue to rise, are getting no respect. Ingram Micro is being valued at approximately $12 a share, while Tech Data is trading at around $23. And these companies have solid business models.
