As long as the fed is pumping money into the market, it isn't going down too far. All indications are that the liquidity will be here through the end of this week.

Personally, I think a little pullback would be healthy from here. I'd like to start the year with a clean slate. We have gone up pretty far, pretty fast.

You never know, some day soon, somebody might take a peek at interest rates and get concerned. All indications are that the liquidity from the fed will end once y2k has passed us by. And there could be some selling pressure in the new year by people taking profits on high flyers that they were not willing to take in the 1999 tax year.

Again, I am a long term bull, just trying to see the peaks and troughs of the waves.
