As for the Neoconianism, this is, after all, his forte. Everyone's got one, so give him his due. The man had a bright future ahead of him as a style-section writer, how he got off track into politics is a puzzler. I must admit I didn't imagine you with kids old enough to comment on movies. My mental image of you was maybe 25-27. How old are your kids, and what flavors, if I may be so bold? I've got two boys, one 12, one 14. They ADORE Star Wars. I remember the first time I saw Star Wars. When the ships went into hyperspace, I was knocked out (metaphorically). That's great movie-making, to leave the watchers jaws akimbo.

And I'm shocked SHOCKED to see that "Backstreet Boys - the movie" failed to even make the list. The problem with these user polls for "best of" lists is they get overrun with teenyboppers.

Daniel - I would like to take this opportunity of a lifetime to agree with you on something -- Dr Strangelove. Definitely in my top five and strong contender for #1. You won't like this next, but -- does the scene with Gen Buck Turgeson (sp) on the horn with the war room while standing on the bed with the babe remind you at all of Clinton on the phone with Dick Morris while one was having his toes sucked and the other..... I forget what class of international scum we raining cruise missiles on at the time :-) I've seen that movie dozens of times. Can hardly wait to see it again. M
