CPIH: A China and internet play in one. Two hot sectors in one company? If your short this one, your playing with fire IMHO: CPIH in Internet business by: themoneychangerscanon 12/28/1999 7:35 pm EST Msg: 2176 of 2201 The reason CPIH is moving is because the have gotten into the Internet business---Anyone rememeber the Scandavian fund--Now XLA that went up over 100X on your money---CPIH used to be a property company--they've bought ISP's, and webcenters where they are now operating---so all the shorts that say it's just a property company do not know what they are talking about--so you have a Hong Kong and China Internet play--what is it worth in this market? Well, their is only 600,000 shares in the float and 472,000 shares are shorted by these "brains" who say the company is only worth a buck--well Amazon was only worth a "buck" XLA was only worth a buck, AOL would never make $, and ITVU was a scam--what happened? This is not a Graham and Dodd market, and judging by the posts, it hasn't been kind to the shorts....
