SAH...is my first choice for the January effect. Bought it back in the summer and averaged down in early Dec. Recently bought Feb 7.5 calls with very little premium.

SAH is an auto retailer with 45 dealerships and 17 collision repair centers mostly in the south. The brands it sells include Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, VW and Volvo. For the nine months ended 9/30/99, revenues were up 89% to over $2 billion. Earnings growth is projected at 44% from 99 to 00 and almost 30% for the next 5 years. The company has beaten the average estimate for earnings for each of the last 5 quarters. Executive comp looks reasonable. Institutions hold 89% of the float according to Yahoo.

Would appreciate any comments or further analysis. Bill
