Todd, clearly you are open to considering other valuation thoughts than just "Its going up baby", which is what I get from many others. Let me give you one other idea as you consider where things are going. I agree that the internet revolution is going to fundamentally change the way many things are done. What is going on today is sort of like the industrial revolution. However, the parts of the economy that will change are reasonably identifiable and mostly related to communications or sales. Transportation costs, occupancy costs, personnel costs, equipment costs, materials costs, food, clothing, etc will be little changed. I don't know how much you might know about your companies expense statement but I suggest you take a look at it to decide for yourself how much of an impact the internet revolution can have then apply that % to the GDP, that should be a total market potential. I have done this, and I can't figure out how to get it above 3-4% total.
