XING --

You will be surprised how many people having cellphone in China. Actually almost everyone in major cities have cellphone; however, 99% of those phones are made by NOK/ERICY/MOT The rest are made by other big telecom companies. A switch to CDMA will not benefit handset companies much and those big companies will benefit by setting up the CDMA network and producing handsets much faster and cheaper than XING. The only way for XING to become a leader is to invent some phone that works on linux and maks pokemon sounds.

ps: Anyhow, the fundmentals don't matter much now, it is all trading and long/short squeezes.

i imagine you've never been to china.. go take a look..and you'll find more people own cell phones than here in US.. (in coastal cities i mean.. )

and the cell phones aren't given away like here .. they sell for 300$ or more.. big business to be in

the idea is that since fixed landlines take too much time to install they skip this and go wireless directly.. USA actually is way behind in terms of wireless vs. europe and asia..

not saying XING is a great stock to own.. but NOK/ERICY/MOT are doing great there.. XING, if it can grab a piece of that pie.. should do well too

Your stereotyping of the fine people of China truly shows your ignorance.
