If the Y2K thing has an affect on oil supplies due to the embedded chip issues does the oil service sector benefit?

I have been in CAM for 18 months and finally it is looking good. The sector is up 40 percent for the year...good enough for me (well I wish I bought Qualcom:)

Picked up some NE today...mostly because the chart looks strong..out pacing the OSX. CAM has tracked it rather closely.

If the supply is cut back due to shutting down a few wells which OS stocks will benefit? It seems to me someone will have to go out and service some wells...facilities or?

Seems like it would also cause an increase in the price of crude..just guessing.
