My concerns about a minor dip in January for some highly appreciated high tech stocks does not extend to Softbank at all. I suspect that Y2K concerns will be a non event, but I could be wrong. It's hard to gage the American ownership of Softbank, but I still don't think that many will have held for the year holding period by March or even April. In any case, the power of the Softbank mania will probably transcend these second order considerations.

Softbank closed up the limit in Tokyo to $907 US. I think we still have two trading days left this year in Japan, but I am not sure. What a year this has been! <G>.

US investors selling on the one side; US institutions, Japanese investors buying on the other. Um, who do we vote with?
