Brian, I did not hear of any experts. I read, in black and white, that 90 evangelical scholars began work in 1984, completed it in 1991, and used the usual texts, and the more recent ones, such as Greek papyri discovered in Egypt in the early 20th century, and other recent manuscripts, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls,to obtain the most accurate translation yet known. You don't want to believe it because you are a Puritan, in the strict meaning that developed from the Calvinism, that was perverted after John Calvin's death, to become far more radical, and tyranical, than his beliefs and writings. Even Calvin said that God is "mild, kind, gentle, and compassionate." That is an exact quote, so do not question me about it. Your form of Puritanism has been labeled as radical, not by me or any other religious groups, but unbiased, non-religious encyclopedias. By the way, the correct title of my bible, not the only one I have, is the "New Living Translation of the Holy Bible". Now, perhaps, you can understand why I am against you. You preach/teach your own twisted version of the bible. You follow the Puritan position of being elect, and believing in the authority of clergy over laity. You could not find anyone in any other denomination, sect, or cult, who would believe as you do, so you were forced to form your own cult, which you have called a Puritan church, in which you could rule with an iron hand and stentorian voice. Such tactics do not work on free and independent Christians who believe in the bible as they read and study it, instead of some self-appointed absolute ruler such as you imagine yourself to be. You may refuse to post to me. You may put me on "ignore" but, as long as you continue to pollute these threads with your stagnant, bilge water, I will hound you like a starving wolf in pursuit of a frightened hare. Of that, you can be assured. haqihana
