Brian, I did not hear of any experts. I read, in black and white, that 90 evangelical scholars began work in 1984, completed it in 1991, and used the usual texts, and the more recent ones, such as Greek papyri discovered in Egypt in the early 20th century, and other recent manuscripts, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls,to obtain the most accurate translation yet known. You don't want to believe it because you are a Puritan, in the strict meaning that developed from the Calvinism, that was perverted after John Calvin's death, to become far more radical, and tyranical, than his beliefs and writings. Even Calvin said that God is "mild, kind, gentle, and compassionate." That is an exact quote, so do not question me about it. Your form of Puritanism has been labeled as radical, not by me or any other religious groups, but unbiased, non-religious encyclopedias.
