OT: If anyone has been mulling over buying QCOM, you might want to try and get some shares today on any pull back (from the current price). Paine Weber initiated coverage this morning with a 12 month target of $1,000. Right now QCOM is up 85 at 588. 1.2 million shares traded already!

Maybe CPQ will pull something similar one of these years?

Lynn, off for the day

JDN,
Calm down. This happens every year to every box maker. New owners learning the new machines, and some software bugs show up. Conflicts with older programs being put on new operating systems. Drivers have to be updated for the old printer, CD writer, scanner, and other hardware. A new PC and frustration create a lot of emotional postings on sites designed to help solve problems. Add to that all the garbage that can be down loaded from the net. Man! A new user can just about throw a perfectly good PC in the trash before he gets done. Are you going to tell me your PC never hangs or freezes. Who hasn't had to hit the power switch after a game freezes up because the memory stack overloaded? This wonderful technology is so complex, it has to have some problems.
