unclewest, we are absolutely not adversaries. I'm neither long nor short CREE. My point is that it's not a gorilla. I have the strong impression that they have the same kind of expertise that surgeons have. That's a great compliment, in my book. But other surgeon-like people may outdevelop them if the SiC field gets hot. The inescapable proprietary architecture isn't visible to me. Today's explosion in QCOM underlines for me the advisability of concentrating in gorillas not just in some fine companies with excellent management, which I believe is a good description of CREE.
