I haven't heard precisely what the talk in Ghana is about. I could speculate though that they are referring to the artisnal miners or " galamsey" I believe they are called in Ghana. These are the individuals who work surface areas for gold and are notorious for their indiscriminate use of cyanide, causing serious environmental havoc. Meantime I am hoping that SJD will prove worthy of my confidence. By the way J.Kaiser just put SJD in his top 20 picks for y2k.
