You and song lyrics - who said your memory was fading out. -g-

This Piecyk bozo from Painless was just on CNBS to 'splain how he came up with the 1000 buck target on QCOM. He said that he applied a multiple to 2001 guesstimated earnings of ..... "100, 200 or 270, I forget what the number is." WTF? He pulls an even 1,000 out of his arse and can't even get his story straight for bubblevision?

I was thinking about taking a flyer and buying a couple poots on QCOM until I saw the prices. Am I glad I passed on that. -ng-

PD looking good; Alcoa gone crazy. Rotation into cyclicals as a defensive move, or play on increasing CRB?

Have you been watching the Titanium markets/producers?

TIE reports BA orders not forthcoming (further digging on yahoo reveals reports that BA subcontractors are getting their materials from other sources in violation of agreement). BA reports new orders, albeit at a lower rate than 1995-1998.

Yet stock seems to refuse dropping below 4 1/2. Amazing long term chart; such a bright future back when TIMT merged.

RTI up today a dollar on good volume today. Stocks going up despite bad news. Where have I seen that behaviour before?

Would you add RTI to your long portfolio today, given the craziness in the markets?
