RE: "Since INPR top brass has exercised their options they are in no hurry to issue any press release"

You mean since they have exercised some of their options. The filings were done before the runup, and I would guess that many more options are still being held by the execs than have been exercised. The runup to $20 was not based on any specific news, but mere speculation. Thus it is inevitable that the price would decline. INPR is still a strong company and I expect that they will return to the high teens sooner rather than later. I sold 1/2 my position at 14.5 and will buy it back if I can get it at 7.25 or better.

The three things that have hammered this stock over the last two weeks are day-trader selling, tax selling and (now) margin calls. The tax selling is done and the day-trader selling is probably done, therefore all we have left is margin calls. A bottom is probably close. -

Registering to sell and actually selling are two separate events. How can we determine if the registered sales were actually done and at what price ? I know an insider at INPR. I am told that hard core Inprise folks, the ones that never jumped ship, see the potential behind INPR and would never sell out this cheaply.

So if there is selling going on, which appears to be the case, why is there no accumulation going on ? I wonder what percentage of the shorts covered during the rally.

We need some good news from HQ to begin an upswing.

Re: IT Managers not caring if their products are open sourced: Open source will give most IT shops many more options and enhancements than one vendor is willing/able to provide, and probably quicker.
