[B] TECH HEADHUNTER: IBM loses to BEA; CMGI in Silicon Valley

By Bridge News
San Francisco--Dec 28--Score one for BEA Systems. The software maker managed
to nab IBM exec Al Shipp to come on over as vice president of sales, Americas.
Shipp left competitor IBM after 17 years, where he was most recently Big Blue's
vice president, west region software sales. He will manage BEA's sales efforts
and its more than 350 quota-bearing sales reps.
But wait, there's more. It looks like BEA may have some ship-jumpers too. No
press releases have been issued, but chat-board rumblings are that several in
BEA's sales force have left to join quasi rival TSI Software, which of late
inked a pretty interesting deal to integrate its software with Oracle Corp's.
The TSI spokeswoman wasn't available for comment early this week. But speaking
of rumors, and only rumors...apparently Oracle was actually looking to buy TSI
for its application integration software. The deal fell through - so they're
just "partnering.".....
CMGI senior communications official Krista Thomas
will be relocating to Menlo Park, Calif. in early January as part of CMGi's plan
to expand its presence in the greater Silicon Valley area. According to insiders
at Andover, Mass-based CMGI, Thomas' move is yet another step in CMGi's plan to
ramp up its West Coast presence in order to play harder in the emerging B2B
market, an arena now dominated by rival ICG Inc. Thomas, who has been the
communications point person for CMGi's ever-multiplying @Ventures family of
Internet companies, will be focusing on the company's mushrooming roster of B2B
ventures and its newly-launched $1 billion B2B fund.....
E-business software provider Walker Interactive Systems Inc. appointed Wyman
McClendon as direcitor of its strategic alliances Tuesday in a move to expand
its global partner base and generate e-business opportunities. McClendon played
a key role in establishing Walker's partership with Commerce One, according to
company president Paul Lord, who stepped up from his vice president's role
earlier this month. Walker's list of global partners includes IBM, Hyperion,
Showcase, Information Builders, Microsoft and Oracle.....

Kimberly: INAI...this is an undiscovered b2b software co. with strong ties to SAP. Company has undergone a complete management change which is now more sales driven. Very astute outside investors own 40% of this company, and have filed with the SEC as more than 5% shareholders. Lots of insider buying in July at $1. Stock now up to $4.

Stock has been moving up nicely the past week.

Fundemental:

Revenues: $23 million
Loss: 5.6 million

Outstanding: 17 million
Float: 9 Million

PSR: 2.5 to 1
BVR: 11.3 to 1

With increasing revenues and a low PSR, this stock will go much higher..and soon, IMHO.

(COMTEX) B: PARAVANT WINS $4 MILLION CONTRACT FROM LOCKHEED MARTIN UN
B: PARAVANT WINS $4 MILLION CONTRACT FROM LOCKHEED MARTIN UNIT

MELBOURNE, Fla., Dec 9, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Paravant Inc.
(Nasdaq: PVAT) said today that it has won a subcontract valued at $4
million from Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company. Under the terms of the
contract, Paravant will provide technology upgrades for computers used
by the U.S. Air Force for its Enhanced Diagnostics Aid (EDNA) program.
Deliveries begin immediately.

Richard P. McNeight, president of Paravant Computer Systems division,
said that the upgrades will be made to existing EDNA computers which
were originally designed in 1995. On September 23, 1999, the Company
announced that it had begun to perform on a similar but separate
subcontract to Sanders valued at $2.4 million.

"Our internally generated growth comes not only from expanding into new
markets, but from growing the value of our business from existing
relationships, "McNeight said. "In many ways, these two recent contract
announcements were especially rewarding because they reflect our
ability to serve our customers well. There can be no better reference
for new customers than the continuation and expansion of business from
existing customers," he said.

The computers monitor certain aircraft flight data which is downloaded
and interpreted for diagnostic purposes, thereby increasing the
efficiency and accuracy of the maintenance of U.S. Air Forces aircraft.
