And of course if one was extremely concerned about a major market correction (geez, I wish it would go ahead and happen, already. I'm tired of waiting for it.), then one should not be selling naked puts anyway. Especially without being able to monitor them constantly. Or, open a spread and cover yourself further on the downside.

And, if one goes to bed every night thinking about 1987,one probably shouldn't be in the game at all. IMHO.
