That was it. Another angsty one was the Hairdresser's Wife. I had a friend who seemed to think that she perceives and feels everything much more deeply than everyone else. That her suffering is more intense, her life so much more penetrating somehow. She doesn't keep friends for long becuase most healthy people find her very draining and move on for their own sakes. ANd no one really wants to feel that their own lives are less worthy of attention! That's how those types of movies make me feel. I felt pity, but not involved. Now Babette's Feast was great; I loved that!
