Clues point to a momo attack and retreat. I dont know why they
did that. I am sure they dont know either.

Maybe a 4 letter ticker with similar spelling to AQIS is running?
It is possible.

In this market, anything and everything can happen and usually does.

I have no idea what caused the move. OXIS did the same a few days back. I guess if you own a few million shares in a microcap and you want to make some money, all you have to do is push it up in an illiquid after-hours/pre-market session and then hope the momentum players take it from there.
