I wrote the below post on H & Q 9/13/99. It is as true now as it was then!

Hambrecht & Quist has ALWAYS been negative on QCOM. They will take every chance they can get to slam
them. They have lost all their credibility as far as I am concerned.

H & Q is a good contrarian indicator. Time to buy.

Why do you feel that H&Q is only obligated to themselves? If anyone puts information into the public domain, don't they have an obligation of fair dealing? IMO, either the H&Q 'analyst' appears to have reached a new height of incompetence within his profession, or he has been deliberately disbursing/withholding information in a manner he knows, or should have known, to be misspeak.He seems to have been consistent in his agenda for a very long time.
