Denver-- Your comments are exactly what is being said in the CC going on right now. You interpreted the press release correctly. BTW, I think a lot of investors will miss a key point in the CC. It's the fact that T is for real via their voice port orders. T annouced they were going to have 400,000-500,000 local phone customers in 2000. And ANTC verified T is on track for this figure via their orders. IMHO it's a significant statement. --MikeM(From Florida)

Well, we had a nice bounce off 24, currently around 30. But really the damage has been done, down from 50+ to 30. The tax loss aspect may be impacting the shares as well. I didn't average down, and I don't know if I will, there are other fish to fry...

To hell with AT&T's telephony project. Who is supplying Cox Communications with their equipment?

Cox cable news,

yahoo.cnet.com

In my Boston neighborhood, Mediaone's telephony prices are uncompetitive with Bell Atlantic unless you order just about every option. Sounds like Cox is quietly doing a better marketing job than AT&T.
