Kunal, I doubt Globalstar will go up from $25 to $623 next year [2000]. But we should sell a few phones.

On the short positions, I never look at them. I don't know about all this options, leaps, puts, calls, shorts, deep in the money, long but hedged stuff. I figure that if it's a good thing, I just buy it. If it looks bad, I sell it.

Anthony, my comments relate to this thread becoming a pile of junk like the old Qualcomm thread. Prices quoted. Predictions made. Insults and physical threats made. Whether leaps exceed puts and 300 posts a day of nothing. Gregory Mullineaux reckons he's the marker for that [a canary like in the coal mines, warning of gas]. The theory is that we get the huge price rise when the canary arrives. So, I said the canary isn't allowed here. That way we keep the share price low and this thread Sacred.

Also, we all make predictions every time we buy, sell or hold. Public ones are no different really. For fun, we sometimes make public predictions, but anyone who has been long in the market [timewise] knows, predictions are fun but chimps get them right half the time as shown in the 'Chimp Index' which beat the professionals.

So which is it folks, you want the money or the thread?
