70% timing band described for each commodity as such: 20% of top/peak occurs prior to the timing band. 70% occur within the timing band. 10% occur after the timing band. The timing band describes an activity from trough (October 18) to next trough. The primary cycle from trough to trough for the S&P index is 22 weeks on average, ranging from 16 to 25 weeks. The leftmost two-thirds is normally bullish with a top occuring from around the mid-point (week 10) to the two-thirds area (week 15). This week is ending week 11. The 13th week is usually a good approximation as was last January, and you can get a secondary peak several weeks later before the final leg down.
