< my wife is going to force me back into the real world.> Time for a new wife. I'm certain there are dozens of web-savvy people who would be willing to help you out, the trouble is you are going to have to share the profits so there goes your advantage....up in smoke. You would have to triple, at least, your subscriber base. Perhaps Mitchell would help. That is, if you don't mind the occasional lawsuit. All the stuff I've been hearing about the scarcity of Champagne, for months now, and yet I have no problem. My wife purchased some cheap stuff at a Price Club, I drank it, she flipped her wig ... so I called a distributor in Connecticut and they delivered it on Sunday. Sunday!!! I have all kinds of stuff now. Cristal, Briant, Henriot....scads of stuff. Funny thing is, we are going to a party and the liquor is included in the price so we don't even need the stuff. But the liquor stores all have signs announcing that Champagne is hard to get yet the shelves are creaking from the weight of the stuff. Perhaps the French wish to keep people in Jersey happy, who knows. < Dom Perignon with cheese whiz appetizers, shrimp cocktails, and cheese/cracker munchies.> Very decadent. Particularly the part about the mook who had the spritzer. That guy was just showing off, but what he did is sinful. Just an extravagant display of waste. In your case it's just what you prefer to do privately and in the company of family. Which makes it deliciously decadent. In the case of the wine spritzer dude it was a jackass move, designed merely to impress. Your wine should be fine, the bottle should have kept very well. I hope you kept it tilted over the years so the cork stayed well. What I occasionally do, when I think I found a Red, for example, that has promise I buy it and store it away for a dozen years or so. That way I can purchase it when the price is low and enjoy it when a special occasion comes up. Sort of like buying Qualcom a year ago. This post reminds me of my brother. He got very into wine some years back. During a golf tournament we were playing against a twosome from Merrill Lynch. These guys were raving about a wine cellar one had. 600 bottles or so. Finally we were on a tee waiting for the group in front of us and they asked him about wine. Turns out his cellar has about 3500 bottles and growing. Man, that would last me for weeks. Anyway, I think Champagne is a Tulip Bulb phenomena. The market should be shorted, most likely. Who is going to want the stuff after tomorrow? I wish you well, my friend. Hope to see you once again in the coming Millennium
