Good for you. Can't argue with taking a profit.

But, boy, do I believe you have made the wrong call. Actually, you are close. You will be able to buy in the 300-400 range in the next couple of months, imo, but it will be at post split prices.

This is not cheerleading on my part.

"Sold my position in QCOM today. It is getting ridiculous. With a projected earning growth of only 25% next year, a PE of more than 200 is just too rich. The analyst is a joke by throwing out a number without anything to back it up. I am looking to get in again at a pre-split price of 300-400 range in the next couple of months".

Smart Investor>
I notice this was your first post on QCOM thread. I disagree with your comment that>
"The analyst is a joke by throwing out a number without anything to back it up."

Did you read the report? I thought his analysis was quite inciteful. Although this analyst was a little late to the party, he sure is a quick study. To borrow from Kevin Kalkhoven (sorry, other thread), don't leave the party until the booze has run out--IMO, there is plenty left.

That is assuming a 45-60% correction, but this is not an inet stock. And that is assuming we don't go up instead. Good luck, man.

BTW, why did you ever buy the stock? Just curious whether you understand the fundies ...

Again good luck.

Ma.
