I bought a BodyBilt ergonomic chair. I love it.

Re Sitting
To later enjoy this money, the best bet is to keep active.
I too have been somewhat chair bound for a year now, locked on to the monitor. Have taken to going to health club for last 6 months, they have excellent bikes, joggers, walkers, weight machines vs old free weights. Wife Jan, thank goodness, drags me off to that place every few days and can pick out what seems like fun, like rowing.
If I ever get back to a beautifull beach like on Guam in 1945,
I would like to be in the water swimming or looking for seashells
You can afford a new bike(G)

I second the recommendation of BodyBilt--a very good chair they make. If you shop around dealers you should be able to find one who will give you 40% off list...they are marked way up. Worst place to buy--Relax The Back.

I picked up a nice Recaro bucket seat. If its good
enough to put in a Porsche, its good enough to sit
in front of a Mac with.

picking a nice chair
Look for those specialty chairs made for gamers. Besides the built in speakers and vibration units for explosions, they have "glide and lock in place" keyboard trays, lots of padding, cup holders, and multi-position leg and arm rests. After all, if you're going to play UNREAL for 12 hours you have to be prepared.
