Nah. The market doesn't lie. If Y2K was a big disaster the market would be acting badly. with billions (even trillions) on the line, people with a lot more money than me are pretty certain that there will be no disaster.

>> Market might reverse the current mania up trend?! <<

It'll reverse eventually. But people are having such a jolly good time, why would they want to quit buying stocks because of a date change? There's too much money to be made! As long as there is money floating around people will scramble to pour it into stocks. People will sell bonds to buy stocks. This is a total feeding frenzy mania.

A little. Mostly lucky! I hope my luck doesn't run out Jan 3rd. Speaking of January 3rd, there will be two days to get everyone's power turned back on. (hehehe) I imagine the telephone lines will start to unclog by the third. As long as there is power and phone service, people will fire up their puters and start buying stocks Monday morning.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzz!!!! Damn. I wish I was long QCOM soooo bad!! I just know if I was long QCOM right now I would have a big grin on my face everytime they mentioned it on CNBC. Since I'm not long, I am getting sick and tired of hearing about it every 45 seconds!!

Some reporter should go through the transcripts and see how many times QCOM was mentioned on CNBC today. Probably 1 time for every point or 697 times!
