Historically, you are correct- but history is, well, history. I'll bet you 2 bits that the January price will be the low for the year 2000- If you disagree, sell your shares this January and I'll buy them- I think everyone will be surprised by this qtr's numbers, as well as next qtr's results- As far as I know, none of the analysts' estimates include the revenue from the flu test and the revenue from the large amount of business(and market share) Quidel gained from Abbott's problems with the FDA. Both of these revenue sources should be substantial.

So far the price has shown a peak in Jan. The earnings number were not good news, and many headed for the exits. However, the increases in production and employees looks promising for the future.
