From Clearstation thread regarding Harbinger(HRBC)......"Harbinger currently trades at 3.5 times fiscal 2000 revenue [estimates of $194
million], a multiple that is a fraction of comparable B2B companies like
Commerce One (CMRC) and Ariba (ARBA) ,"

Forrester Research estimates the B2B market to grow to $1.3 trillion by 2003,
up from $43 billion in 1998.

But despite Harbinger's ability to turn a profit, generate revenue in excess of
$135 million, the company is still worth less than $1 billion, or about one-tenth
the size of each of its unprofitable peers, Commerce One and Ariba.

Commerce One ($10.2B), which generated $2.6 million in 1998 sales, and
Ariba ($10.7B), which recorded $45 million over the last twelve months,
combined for less than $50 million in revenue during their latest fiscal years but
have a combined market valuation in excess of $20 billion.
