Trading limits in TSE

I'm not an expert by any means, but it appears to me that the limit is sometimes only transient. Several times the limit was reached, then later on the same day, the stock price fell, or the share counter would increase. So I think as long as people are willing to sell at the limit (if up), if buyers can be found, trading continues.

Not an authoritative answer, just my observations from watching the yahoo japan ticker.

The answer is no, the limit is the maximum a stock can go down or up in a session, unfortunately in our case, the stock continues to trade...

i just wanted to thank everyone on this thread, netconductor, mact, jay chen, taikun, michelda and everyone else for all their informative posts. it was through all your help that i became interested in this stock and learned how to buy it. this is w/o a doubt one of the most informative, least spammed boards on SI... i've been long on this since it was $235 and it has made me as well as a few other friends of mine very very wealthy this past 6 months. thanks again.
i wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year!!!
