Global Crossing Ltd. only bought Racal Telecom, a group of wholly owned subsidiaries of Racal Electronics Plc('Racal'). Global didn't buy any of the manufacturing division. Here are some of the related press releases:

BTW, i just found out my computer is not Y2K complient:
When I turned the internal clock a head to January 1, the displayed date year changed to 1/1/2000. I think it should have changed to 1/1/Y2K.<G>
